One of the abiding mysteries of our time is the curious notion that Yeshuah ben-Yosif is supposed to have been a "forerunner" (in some weird sense) of modern political ideologies like communism, anarchism, liberalism, etc.
Nothing could be further from the truth. For example, if "Jesus" were an "anarchist", a "communist", etc., then why did he fail to speak A SINGLE WORD AGAINST SLAVERY?
Why is it so difficult to understand that "Jesus" was A COUNTRY PREACHER in rebellion against "big city Judaism"? His ideas had NOTHING to do with economic, social, or political oppression. His message was directed to Jews, calling them back to the "inner righteousness" of "that old-time religion".
In simple justice, he should have been regarded as a Jewish prophet. That's what he actually WAS.
After Saulos of Tarsus invented "Christianity", the real identity of Yeshuah has been lost in the fog of opportunism -- everyone (or nearly everyone) creates a "Jesus" that they can USE to impress (con) people with.
