I am a fan since 1991, when I first heard the first two albums in the home of a friend of mine. I can still remember perfectly how I felt in that very moment. I was completely horrified with the unspeakable chaos of that sound coming out from the speakers. It not just turned upside down all my conceptions of what heaviness is but it left me with a question that took me years to answer: what the fuck is music?
The answer I found was: music is whatever sound (or even lack of it) that pleases my fucking ears. That provokes my emotions. And being so, Napalm Death are some of the finest musicians around.
I went to the gig in Rio early this year and I can't stop thinking that it was one of the best gigs of whatever music genre I have ever seen. Why? Because it was sincere. The sound came from the heart with unprecendented passion, directly into mine. And that's the ONLY way to play music.
Thank you guys and please return soon. I am addicted to that drug that infests your sound called SENTIMENT.
